All events begin promptly as scheduled and the films will commence after a short introduction. There are no refunds for latecomers. Latecomers will be ushered in by staff only at a suitable break in the film, and seating location will be at the discretion of the management.
Please note that although we have accessibility seating, the Royal Cinema does not have ground floor restrooms. However, we have made arrangements with the neighbouring restaurant, Birreria Volo, to allow our guests with mobility concerns to use their facilities. We understand the importance of providing a welcoming environment for all our guests, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We will do our best to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
We kindly request that guests with mobility needs reach out to us ahead of time at info@tuff.film so that we can reserve appropriate seat(s). Arriving at the venue before the doors open (40 minutes prior to screening time) would also ensure the smoothest possible experience and give our staff the opportunity to provide assistance and support as required.
You’ll be given the choice to identify your need for Accessible seating in our online check-out. We will reserve accessible seating for you.
You can also email us at info@tuff.film if you require accessible seating.
Please identify yourself to one of our volunteers or a Royal Cinema staff member upon your arrival and we will help you to your seat.
No, we apologise but we do not offer this service at this time.

Arriving at the Venue
Please make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of your show. If you arrive before the doors open we kindly ask you to line up in our designated area along the sidewalk.
Please have your tickets ready to be scanned when you get to the front doors or are standing in line. If your tickets are on your phone, turning up the screen brightness will help our devices read the barcodes.
For everyone’s safety, please do not come to the venue if you’re sick, particularly if you’re experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19
In our Lobby and Public Spaces
During events at the Royal Theatre, our lobby space is reserved for food and drinks at the concession stand. This is to ensure that the space does not become overcrowded and to allow for clear passages for patrons to exit and access restroom facilities. We kindly ask that patrons limit their use of the lobby space to obtaining refreshments and instead encourage socialising either inside the theatre or outside. This helps us create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Please feel free to ask questions—our team is here to help and to make your visit the best experience possible.
During Performances
Unless event information says otherwise, using a camera or recording device is not allowed inside the auditorium.
For the safety and comfort of all our patrons, we kindly ask that no weapons, vaping devices, or outside food and drink bought outside the venue be brought into the theatre.
Please be considerate of those around you, and avoid any actions or behaviours that might disturb, distract, or otherwise prevent people from enjoying the performance.
